Reading and Leeds Festival headliners My Chemical Romance in one incident a bad experience several years ago, after Freddie Mercury and Queen took inspiration from.

He said, "I said to the guys, 'I never want to play this again until we headline'. Kind of what Freddie Mercury once said when Queen were booed offstage at this festival."

Way said that fans could expect something special from the band at Reading and Leeds Festivals, and that "we don't care if we lose money or break even".

Reading and Leeds Festival other acts confirmed include Muse, The Strokes and Pulp.
