Reading Festival 2010: 'Protected From Flooding'


Organisers of Reading festival have taken measures to protect the festival site from flooding. It follows two days of highly showers, the event's being today (August 27) which have concentrated the ground ahead. The Reading Festival site they have also lowered the levels of the River Thames adjacent. Melvin Benn director festival would enable to festival departer “to have a fantastic weekend”.

He added: “We have obviously experienced highly rainfall over the past couple of days but the rest of the weekend is looking nice here's to another great Reading weekend!"

The festival runs on Sunday (August 29), by Guns N' Roses will be headlined. Other acts on the bill include Klaxons, The Libertines, The Cribs, Paramore, Weezer and Lostprophets.
