Reading and Leeds festivals headline Descendents and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones are confirmed to perform at Lock Up Stage.

King Blues, The Bronx and Flogging Molly will also appear on the stage in this year 2011.

The event held on August 26-28 Bank Holiday weekend include Capdown, Street Dogs, Sharks, Bedouin Soundclash and Hot Water Music.

Mike Davies, curator of the stage, said: "2011 is the year that Punk Rock broke out... again. There are so many great groups around and I truly believe that we have managed to get 24 of the best bands possible to play on the Lock Up Stage.”

Children's Reading Festival is coming to Lakeland on Saturday

A free children's Reading Festival is coming to Lakeland on Saturday and about 1,500 children are expected to attract.

Greater Lakeland Junior is his sixth year party, now the world's League of Reading, chat activities, free books, arts and crafts, music, children's book authors will feature readings, and the life.
